I am a Former Pres and State Rep of IOMC Central Md and met some of you at one of our Helping Hometown Heroes Fundraisers at JPs in Taylorsville. I had not met any of you before that day and wished I had a few free minutes to talk but it was a busy busy day. Anyway a belated THANK YOU for the support of the event. I wanted to stop in here and check out the website it has been a while since I have done that and it dawned on me, I owe this amazing group a huge overdue THANK YOU. It's funny how life brings people in your life, out of your life and then back in and when you look back you never realize the impact somethings will have on your future. Ginger and I went to high school together and I was in her wedding to Highway. 20 plus years later we reconnect on Facebook and end up going to the beach together on a spontaneous idea after not seeing each other in forever. While at the beach she gets a text from Jim with a picture showing him getting "patched in" with a group of guys called The Four Horsemen. I think back to that statement and how happy she was for him and no one could of told me at that minute what a difference that group of men and their ladies were going to make in the life of my granddaughter , daughter and myself a little more than a year later. I love my Ginger she's one of my oldest and dearest friends and I absolutely adore Highway and I thank them both from the bottom of my heart for having me feel like one of their family and opening up their home and lives to me. With that also brought Legion into my life. From the first time I met them it was warm greetings, they dont' just shake your hand, the hug you , look you in the face, take the time to talk to you , to get to know you. They remember things you tell them and the next time you see them they are asking how things are going. They are a band of brothers that truly cares about people, they are selfless and exceptional. The Associates of Legion are just as freaking AWESOME. I love these women ! Sadly I haven't been able to be around much at all lately and I miss that but things change , things happen and lives get busy. ( now that I just reread what I wrote and realized I rambled and never even mentioned what the purpose of this message was ) ...........My daugther gave birth to Adrianna Rose three months ago, a birth that took place at a special Childrens Hospital a place they have called home for almost 100 days. My grand daughter was born with multiple birth defects and alot of challenges and surgeries ahead. Seven posted a message on the clubs FB page requesting donations and also put a link on this site. Within 4 days this club raised $1000.00 for my granddaughter and her mother. F O U R D A Y S......We were speechless and shocked and thankful and every emotion that you can imagine. I am proud to know these great people I am proud call them friends and I hope everyone that reads this realizes that a bunch of AMAZING bikers made a huge difference HUGE DIFFERENCE! . I can't wait till the day Adrianna Rose can meet everyone and tug at their beards and pull their hair and spit up on their leather .... She surely won't mind doing it and for all their prayers and support I know they surely won't mind taking the abuse ....=-)

I just want to see the "spittle" on Sevens cut! It will be testament to the miracle we all prayed for! I am so glad to get the updates and to hear Adrianna Rose is getting bigger and stronger every day. Just wanted to say as Soldier with 24 years in Service and 10 year in the 75th Ranger Regiment your WWP ride was by far one of the best events I have ever been including Rides, Runs, or events that didn't include Motorcycles. It was planned, supported and executed. At times it was emotional as it was a very personal experience. Thanks Rangers Lead the Way! RFFR!

My wife Lisa and I were invited to the Giving Back ride by a friend. We were impress by the tight organization and execution of the event. It was great to come out and support such a worthy cause. I had the pleasure of meeting Seven, Atlas, and Axle and learned a little more about the club, the brotherhood, and the philosophy behind it. My last day in the marine corp was one of the worst days of my life. I didn't miss the BS, I missed and still miss my brothers. Since then, I married, have kids, and enjoy life. I read an article in Thunder Roads written by Colt, I believe. Something he said about the tightness of your group reminded me of that last day in USMC. Family are those you hope will be there if you need them, but that's not always the case. My true band of brothers, marines, had my 6 and I had theirs, but that last day I was alone and have been since. Sure I have great friends, but until you've experienced true brothers, you'll never know what it's like to have others around that will always be there for you no matter what. I miss it, you guys should be proud, hold your heads high always. That you have is awesome. Maybe one day we'll meet up on the road and who knows, maybe that last day will be only a memory instead of living it everyday missing my lost brothers.

I was just catching up on things across our website and saw your comments, as well as my brothers' replies. I too reflect on my military service and the brothers and bonds made during trying times, conflict, and otherwise. After 24 yrs of military service as a Navy Mustang, not a day goes by that I don't reflect on someone or something experienced.
